Recycling Crayola Crayons

Hmmm, what to do with all our old Crayola Crayons?  Really the only thing to do with them is melt them and create new "shaped crayons". And what mold would my boys like...a Lego mold!  The mold I used was a Lego silicone ice cube mold.  I wasn't sure the mold would hold up in a 300 degree oven, but it did:)  Check them out!  My boys loved them.

Here's the mold I used.

Directions:
Peel crayon labels off (we used an Exacto knife).  Heat oven to 300 degrees.  Break one crayon per Lego brick.  Put in oven for 10-12 minutes.  Cool crayon completely and remove from mold.

Enjoy coloring with Legos!
